Say hello to Alan Ristić, who from this point on, will refer to himself in the third person in order to simplify the task of writing an “about” page. Alan is programmer, software architect, project manager, founder etc. living in sunny Ljubljana(capital of Slovenia). He identifies himself with many roles, but his primary is the first one – programmer & software architect. The primary occupation for the moment is a ‘web’ startup that he founded with two colleagues, now friends. This status(official business card title would be “Chief of research & development officer”) grants him access to most black magic resources and people around the planet. Besides that, he’s trying to finish his study on Faculty of Computer and Information Science and find some time for his girl fiancee wife Marina(you can find her blog on mininaigralnica.com) and friends.
Someday he hopes to join the circus of astronauts as the resident geek, but would settle on being just a tourist for a time. If you are looking to merely win his favor or to persuade him, he is easily won over by candied offerings or a great coffee. Though he is purportedly open to bartering, wild bets, and challenges involving feats of strength, Alan survives as a soldier of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire him.

Alan enjoys loud music and subsequent ass-shaking. He nearly knows the value of a €uro, though could still be persuaded to purchase magic beans. He enjoys good and bad Action and Sci-Fi movies or series, though prefers good, and can often be found losing the day watching them. He also holds firm that his mother is the best cook in the time zone. Alan makes one of the best cups of coffee you are likely to have. As a possible second calling, he enjoys building things with his hands, and following assembly instructions(Lego stuff). Mornings regularly find Alan getting pedaling bleary-eyed to the office.He lives in symbiosis with his room trees and beautiful girlfiancee Mina.

As he described in first post he just didn’t find the time to code it(this blog) by hand. he’s got really great idea, but it will have to wait for some other time.The site is coded modified and maintained on black Lenovo T61 ThinkPad using WordPress blogging software.
The sites primary purpose, witch I’m shure will change over time, is maintaining written log to my personal discovery and learning (with some solutions) in social media, software architecture/programming field, notes on personal life(mostly parenting at from January 2010) and hopefully expanding social network of great people around the globe.
